Why Carlisle Soap Co?
It all began with an idea. To make simple handmade soaps from great ingredients that are kind to our skin and free from chemical nasties.
As a teen, I had very sensitive skin and my acne was so bad that washing my face in the shower made me cry. Over the years, I have tried eye-watering expensive face washes and prescription washes, and in the end, it was simple basic soaps made from clean ingredients that actually helped my skin relax and calm down.
I wanted to take this further and so with research, I have created the “Original - Carlisle Soap Co - Collection”. A collection of 5 soap bars that range from floral lavender soap bars to Activated charcoal-infused cedarwood and black pepper soap bars. All were designed and created on the same base soap that helped my skin years ago.
